01 / FINISHED WORK AND RECORD
From the finished work
to the build record.
What matters here is not only the completed aircraft.
Once completed, a solid model appears before us as a quiet and definite form. Yet behind that form lies a long sequence of choices: selecting material, setting reference lines, carving, checking, correcting, and judging again.
Fukuda’s record is important because this time of making has been preserved in photographs and notes. By reading the finished model together with its build process, we can understand the work more deeply.
