This page is an index of solid model build and reform records preserved in the Japanese Solid Model Archive.

Types of Records
The archive includes different types of records.
Construction Process Records
These records follow the making of a solid model from materials and rough shaping to painting, markings, assembly, and completion.
They are useful for understanding how an aircraft form gradually emerges through repeated observation, correction, and judgment.
Reform Records
These records follow the reworking of a model that had already been completed once.
They are especially valuable because they show how an existing model was reconsidered, opened again, corrected, and brought to a new final state.

Notes
Some aircraft subjects and markings in these records belong to wartime historical contexts.
They are presented here solely as part of the historical and documentary record of scale model making.
The purpose of this archive is not to endorse any ideology or military action, but to preserve and study the techniques, processes, and records of solid model craftsmanship.
