Dear Takami,
Now that the evenings have begun to cool, I hope you are keeping well. Time passes faster than I ever expect.
Some days ago, I received a notice from the newly formed Osaka Solid Model Club, inviting members to a gathering at the Public Hall. Unfortunately, due to a bit of “engine trouble,” I could not “take off,” and I regret having missed it. Were you able to attend?
I was expecting some follow-up news afterward, but no letter has arrived yet, so I wondered if something had happened—and decided to write.
There is something else I must apologize for. The Constellation model you kindly gave me was taken—rather forcefully— by a visiting relative who insisted on having it. I had repainted it and displayed it carefully, so I truly feel sorry about this. Please allow me to apologize properly next time we meet.
I recently completed my Shiden, and I am now working on the Safir 9IC, which I intend to submit for the Tokyo exhibition. The deadline is approaching quickly. May I ask what project you are currently building? If you do not mind sharing, I would be glad to hear.
I also received the latest *Onchikai Bulletin*, which is full of technically useful information.
When you have the time, please let me know how you have been. And if your schedule permits, I would be delighted if you could visit my home. I look forward to seeing you.
